When I first call up the Index page of my Forum, even before I log in, if I double-click on the "Usernames" list box, there are around 5 usernames shown in the list which to the best of my knowledge, have not been created.
I can bring up any of those names (along with actual valid usernames) under "Quick Access > Manage Users", where I would expect to delete these ghost usernames, but if I click "Submit" when any of the odd usernames are selected, all I get is "the requested user does not exist".
I have run the php reclean-user function, and attempted to clear those names from the list using the Admin Control Panel but all I get is "User does not exist".
So:
- can anyone tell me where these strange users come from?
- how can they be removed.
They are not in the phpBBDB database phpbb_users list. As far as I know I have never created them.
