We're using the latest version of PHP 3.3.11 and thought we'd try the much talked about Account Activation By Admin. We get a notification that a new user has registered, but not activated. Clicking on the notification takes us to the new user's Viewing profile page.
Is that all we have to do for administration is view their profile? I've been researching for the past 2 hours what mechanism the administrator is supposed to do once notified there's a newly registered user, but have came up empty. Some of the older support documents for versions of PHP (3.2.x) show that the admin is given two options, to review and to activate. Apparently version 3.3.11 only gives the review profile option.
Again, what is the next mechanized item in the user activation process? Is the user still responsible for activating or does the Admin force activation?
