My request was not to remove these features, it was a request to move them (except of "notify me"), to give them a lower focus. "notify me" should be alway visible, the others can be move into the last tab or UCP options. I would move "notify me" above the smilies.That said, I have NEVER had a user request to REMOVE a feature. So I say please - just keep them in. As you've showed, easy enough to remove - go for it.
Same with the on/of info under the smilies:
- if BBCode is of, there should be no BBCode menu.
- if img is of, no, image button in the menu, same with url and smilies.
It can be removed. That's all the user needs.
