I updated from 3.3.13 to 3.3.14 and both notification and email are being sent to Admin - it is working correctly. I can't tell why. The update process directs you to deleting the Cache folder from the older version - perhaps the problem is related to something being cached and not cleared? Or, if this were a known problem with 3.3.13, you would think others would found it. Going forward - is there any problem with just clearing the Cache folder on the host as a maintenance activity to avoid this problem?
