Yes, but my forum was created ~12 years ago... I have no idea if prefix was available at that time. Regardless, I hope this thread helps other users that encounter similar problems in the future.When you run the phpBB installer, it asks for a prefix. It tacks that on the front of all the database table names. The default prefix is phpbb_Last issue with MySQL is solved by renaming all tables and adding a prefix.
